Healthy Living & Weight Management
My journey with food and body image began early. At just 12 years old, I started feeling uncomfortable in my own skin—lacking confidence and turning to food for comfort. By 14, I was on my first diet. That was the start of a long rollercoaster: deprivation followed by binging, then back to restriction again. That cycle lasted all through college and deeply impacted my ability to enjoy life. I was caught in a pattern of sneaky, closet eating, filled with shame and secrecy.
Back then, there wasn’t even a name for binge eating disorder. But eventually, I got help. I worked with a healthcare professional and found support in a group that helped me shift my relationship with food. I learned how to make peace with eating, how to stop labeling food as “good” or “bad,” and how to enjoy life without food being a source of guilt or control.
Now, I help others do the same.
Approach
I work with people who want to find a healthy, balanced relationship with food—without deprivation, shame, or restriction. I believe no food is off-limits. You can eat anything you want—just not all at the same time. Together, we work on mindful eating, setting boundaries, and learning how to enjoy food as a part of your life, not something you have to battle.
